Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has sworn-in Justice Tajudeen Abdulganiyu as the new President, Customary Court of Appeal, Oyo State
The oath of allegiance and oath of Judiciary was administered on the new President by the Governor at the Executive Council Chamber, Governor’s Office, Agodi, Ibadan.
Delivering his remarks, the Governor stated that due process which was devoid of any form of bias was strictly followed before giving approval the appointment of Justice Tajudeen Abdulganiyu, as the next president of the State Customary Court of Appeal.
While congratulating Justice Tajudeen, Makinde charged the youth to take a cue from his life experience and ensure they dream big and pursue their dreams without distraction.
The Governor also expressed confidence in Justice Abdulganiyu to right the wrongs in the judicial system of the state.
Speaking with the newsmen immediately after the ceremony, Justice Tajudeen Abdulganiyu, promised to give his best to take the state Customary judicial system to a greater height.
The event was attended by the state deputy Governor Barrister Bayo-Lawal, the Speaker Oyo house of assembly, Rt Hon Adebo Ogundoyin, the state Chief Judge, Justice Iyabo Yerima, Other top government functionaries, Political appointees, religious leaders and well wishers.
