…Inducts Lolade Into Hall of Fame
…Hails Reappointment of Victor Olojede
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has been decorated as Grand Patron of National Association of Nigerian Students (Southwest zone) by the members at the Governor’s Office on Monday.
The national body of the students association said the induction was in recognition of the extraordinary work the governor has done to advance the cause of the students, development of Oyo State and more importantly, improvement of the lot of the youths and students.
Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, the Coordinator of NANS, (Southwest zone), Comrade Alao John expressed his profound gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for not just being a father to them, but for his patriotic and nationalistic dispositions which he said stood him out from the rest of his colleagues and other leaders.
He also thanked the governor for running both youth and students-friendly administration and also, for being conscious of the fact that leadership is all about service to the people.
The students lauded the Governor for reappointing and elevating his aide, Victor Olojede from Special Assistant to Senior Special Assistant on Students Affairs, describing him as a good ambassador of the Governor among the students’ community.
In his brief remarks, Governor Seyi Makinde assured the students of his continuous support and promised to continually provide opportunities for young persons to grow and thrive.
The students equally inducted the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Duty, Miss Lolade Ajibola into her Hall of Fame for her support For NANS South west.
