The Senatorial candidate of Accord Party in the 2023 general elections, Hon Nurudeen Faozy has donated N11m (eleven million) to all chairmanship candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo Central Senatorial District.
The cash donation was done on Wednesday at Ikolaba residence of Governor Seyi when his representative, Hon Alebiosu paid a courtesy call on Governor Seyi Makinde’s Ally, Otunba Seye Famojuro.
The 11 eleven local government areas in Oyo Central Senatorial District are; l Oyo East, Oyo West, Afijio, Atiba, Akinyele, Lagelu, Egbeda, Ana-Ara, Surelere, Ogo-Oluwa and Surulere.
In his brief remarks, Faozy urged all his supporters in Oyo Senatorial District to adopt all PDP candidates and vote for them enmass in the Saturday’s local government elections.
He said the achievements of Governor Seyi Makinde in Oyo Central and Oyo State in general are convincing enough to the electorates who would vote during the elections.
Faozy used the opportunity to extol the sterling leadership qualities of the Balogun Bobajiro of Orile Igbon, Otunba Seye Famojuro for identifying and empowering youths who are the leaders of today to leadership positions at the grassroot.
Speaking on behalf of all the chairmanship candidates in Oyo Central, Oyo East PDP chairmanship candidate, Hon Olusola Peter Oluokun, lauded the generosity of Hon Faozy and prayed that Almighty God would continue to bless him.
