JUST IN: Osinbajo Arrives Ibadan for His Inlaw’s Burial, Governor Makinde’s Mother Funeral

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has arrived in Ibadan for the burial service of his inlaw, Reverend (Mrs) Omotola Oyediran, who doubles as the mother of his wife.

Late Mrs. Oyediran, the eldest daughter of the first Premier of Western Region, Pa Obafemi Awolowo, who died in Ibadan on October 16, 2020, at 79 years, made a huge mark on society and is expected to be buried this Friday.

In a similar vein, Vice President Osinbajo had a stopover at the Oyo state government House to pay governor Makinde’s mother, Late Abigail Omojolagbe Makinde, his last respect.

On the entourage of the vice president are the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and other dignitaries.

Earlier, Governor Seyi Makinde received the governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki at the Government House Agodi, Ibadan ahead of his mother’s burial service slated for today.
