The families of 1020 Division Workshop soldiers gets robust water supply.
A borehole project was commissioned today 7 April, 2020 at the Letmauck Cantonment, Mokola, Ibadan by the General Officer Commanding 2 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Anthony Bamidele Omozoje.
The project was initiated and executed by the Acting Commanding Officer 1020 Division Workshop Mokola, Ibadan, Lieutenant Colonel Thompson Oshuporu.
According to the Acting Commanding Officer, 1020 Division Workshop, Lieutenant Colonel Thompson Oshuporu, satisfying the needs of troops is very important, “water is very important to live and shortage supply of it could affect not only the comfort of soldiers’ families but also the performance of troops.
So I decided to embark on ensuring that water shortage in the Cantonment is a thing of the past” he stressed.
The General Officer Commanding 2 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Anthony Bamidele Omozoje while commissioning the borehole commended and appreciated the efforts of the Acting Commanding Officer for boosting water supply in the Cantonment. “Water is indispensable in our daily life usage. This project will bring relief to troops and their families” he noted.
