In a move aimed at fostering unity within Oluyole Local Government Ward 2, leaders and executives gathered at Otunba Hon. Olusina John Ogunsola’s residence on March 24, 2024, to address internal conflicts and reach a lasting resolution.
The meeting, hosted by Hon. Ogunsola, sought to ensure active participation in the upcoming local government elections and bolster Peoples Democratic Party’s position in Oluyole Local Government.
At the meeting, The leaders in attendance included Hon. Fatai folorunsho (the chairman of the coming local government election campaign committee for Ward 2), Baba Alabi (Pinra) (Representative of the ward 2 leaders and leader of the leaders of the ward), Bisoye ( ward secretary), Mrs odeyinka (Mama JP), Alhaja Omolara Arẹwà, Mr. Sakiru, Mr Aloma (Youth leader), Mr. Musilu, Mr. Morufu, Prince Mukaila, Mr. Wale Babatunde ( Vice Chairman of the ward), the ward’s women leader among other key members.
Through their collaborative efforts, Ward 2 has finally resolved its internal crisis, paving the way for a united front in the forthcoming local government elections.
The successful reconciliation has exemplified Hon. Ogunsola’s commitment to fostering harmony within the party and his dedication to driving PDP’s progress at all levels.
By bringing together the warring factions, he has laid the foundation for a stronger, more cohesive Ward 2, ultimately benefiting both the community and the party in the crucial elections to come.
