” I was in a meeting of other traditional leaders earlier before you arrived and everyone at the meeting spoke very well about you, they made it clear to me that look Baale, ‘Akeem Olatunji ni awa n baalo o’ (Baale, it is Akeem Olatunji we’re going along with) and I have also endorsed you as our candidate in Olonde.” Baale Erinjoguola said.
While narrating some of the challenges of the area, Baale Erinjoguola urged Olatunji to prioritize infrastructural development in the community to make life more meaningful for his people who are largely farmers, traders and artisans.
He prayed for Olatunji’s electoral success at the April 27 Local government poll promising to give his full support. In his words: “We have had special prayers as traditional worshipers and we have the assurances that the coast is clear for you, you shall win this coming election and nobody can stop you.”
