…Wole is competent, astute administrator with proven track records – PDP Leaders
The chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Akinyele Local Government, Hon Wole Akinleye and other candidates flagged off their campaigns ahead of April 27th Local Government council Election.
The event was held at Moniya roundabout, Akinyele local government, Ibadan, Oyo state.
While Speaking with supporters and the people of the local government, Oyo state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde who was represented by the Director-General of PDP campaign teams in Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Oloye Benedict Akika said that the present administration in the state has shown that PDP has taken over the state with the infrastructural development enjoyed by the people which has given the party edge over any opposition in the state.
The Philanthropist and Mayegun of Akobo, however, appealed to the people of Akinyele Local Government to make sure they vote for all the party candidates at the forthcoming local government election that would be coming up on April 27.
Akika charged the people of the state to come out and and vote enmasse and promised the people that their votes will count at the poll.
In his goodwill message, Commissioner for Local Governments and Chieftaincy Matters who double as One of the leaders of PDP in Akinyele, Hon. Segun Olayiwola said that from the administration of former governor of Oyo state, Kolapo Ishola, Akinyele Local Government has been worthy of emulation and assured that the people of the local government would vote for the party’s candidate including all the twelve Councilors in Akinyele Local government.
He further said that with the achievement of Governor makinde, the party would emerged victorious at the poll.
In his goodwill message, The Special Adviser to Governor Makinde on Federal Constituency Matters and stalwart of the party, Hon Dare Adeleke commended Governor Makinde for his unprecedented achievements in the state.
The former PTS boss called on the people of the local government and Oyo State to come out enmasse and vote for all PDP candidates at the forthcoming poll.
Adeleke described the party’s candidate in Akinyele Local government, Hon. Wole Akinleye as a competent, astute administrator with high degree of integrity, lover of the masses.
Adeleke declared that when Wole served under him at PTS, he demonstrated his unwavering commitment to excellence noting that when elected as Executive Chairman, he would compliment the efforts of the state government in giving out dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroot.
In his remark, the PDP chairmanship candidate in Akinyele local government, Hon. Wole Akinleye promised to embark on youth empowerment and invest more in agriculture to enhance food security if elected as the Executive Chairman.
He admonished all voters in the council to vote for all candidates.
Dignitaries at the flag-off ceremony were Hon Kehinde Olatunji (Deacon), Hon Lekan Monsur Abiola, Hon Babatunde Tijani (Double T), Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Akinyele Lagelu Federal Constituency, Hon Ayotunde Fatokun, Senior Special Assistant on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon Ramota Agberemi Dabo (RAD), Chairman Oyo State Community Development Agency (OYCSDA), Hon Abideen Adetokunbo Adeaga.
Others are Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Students Affairs, Hon Victor Olojede, Mogaji Olatoye Olajide (Big Daddy Sugar), Mogaji Abass Oloko, Mogaji Ademola Oladosu.
PDP chairmanship candidates in Oluyole, Engr Akeem Olatunji, Ibadan North, Hon Seun Olufade, Lagelu, Hon Mudashiru Kamorudeen.
