The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has inaugurated its Campaign Committee in Oyo East ahead of the forthcoming local government elections in Oyo State.
The inauguration ceremony was performed by the PDP Chairman in Oyo East Local Government, Hon Sakiru Ojo on Friday.
It will be recalled that the PDP Chairmanship candidate, Hon Oluokun Peter Olusola had on January 13 appointed Alhaji Kareem Rasheed Agba As the Director-General of the campaign council.
The official inauguration held today, Friday, 9th February, 2024 was attended by eminent personalities and political Juggernauts in Oyo Federal Constituency.
Notable among the dignitaries were former Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, the lawmaker representing Oyo East/Oyo West, Hon. Olorunpoto Rahaman,
Hon Bamise Alabi, Political head of LCDA, Oyo, Hon Moroof Adebayo Akinwande, formal house of representative and chairman water cooperation of Oyo state.
The party chairman, Hon Sakiru Ojo, Hon. Alawode Salisu, G L O, Oyo Federal Constituency,
Baba Siju Salami, pioneer PDP party chairman.
Others are, Elder E.O Oluokun, former party chairman in Oyo East, Oyediran Peter (baba Happiness).
