Makinde Inaugurates Newly Elected Ido LG Chair, Hon Sheriff Adeojo

The chief judge of Oyo State, Justice Munta Abimbola has sworn-in the newly elected Ido Local Government chairman, Hon. Adeojo Sheriff Aderemi, who garnered 19,744 votes in the just concluded election conducted in the Ido Local Government Area of the state.

Justice Munta Abimbola, who was represented by Honorable Justice Mashood Abass of the state high court, administered the oath of office and allegiance on the council boss, Hon. Adeojo Sheriff Aderemi and and his vice, Mr. Saka Fashola, at the ceremony which took place at the executive council chamber, Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan, this Friday.

While Inaugurating the chairman and his vice, the Oyo state Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, congratulated the people of the Ido Local Government area on new grassroot government in their domain.

The governor, however, charged the newly elected chairman and his vice to do all within their best at bringing succour to the people under their watch.

Present at the swearing-in ceremony were the deputy governor of Oyo state, engineer Rauf Olaniyan; the chief of staff, chief Oyebisi Ilaka; commissioner for Local Government and chieftaincy matters, chief Bayo Lawal, amongst others.
