Makinde Presents Vehicle to Mogaji Wale Ladoja

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde on Friday presented a brand new vehicle to prominent Mogaji of Ibadanland, Chief Wale Ladoja.

The gesture is a fulfilment of the promise made by the Governor to the traditional chief for his commitment to the growth and development of Ibadanland.

The vehicle was presented to the beneficiary by Hon Babatunde Tijani (Double T).

The presentation of the vehicles is believed to be part of Governor Makinde’s continued recognition of the vital roles played by Mogajis as family heads and key stakeholders within the traditional leadership structure of Ibadanland.

In his remarks Mogaji Wale Ladoja commended Governor Makinde for fulfilling his promise to support the traditional institution, describing the governor as a leader who keeps his word

He expressed appreciation to the governor for the gesture and pledged the continued support of the Mogajis for the administration’s programmes and policies aimed at promoting peace, development and unity across Ibadan and Oyo State at large.

The Mogaji institution remains a critical component of the traditional hierarchy in Ibadanland, serving as heads of extended family compounds and playing key roles in grassroots leadership and community development.

The presentation was witnessed by Mogaji Abass Oloko and the Executive Chairman of Lagelu local government, Hon Mudashiru Kamorudeen.
