The Special Assistant to Oyo State Governor on Youth and Sports, Hon Kazeem Bolarinwa on Thursday joined a Non-Governmental Organization(Youth for Social Impact), to clean up Mokola Market and sensitized traders and market leaders on how to improve sanitation in the area.
Hon Kazeem, who joined network of volunteers to clean-up streets, roads, markets and motor parks in Ibadan on Thursdays said that the exercise would continue until the aim and objective of His Excellency, Engineer Seyi in terms of Clean and Green initiative is achieved and sustained.
He added that one of the mandates is to clear drainages and educate people on waste recycling to ensure a healthy environment.
Hon Kazeem who attributed the success of the exercise to the logistics support from the Oyo Waste Management Agency (OYOWMA).
According to him, the exercise is to rid the state of waste and carry out opinion survey on residents on proper waste disposal while educating them on waste recycling.
