The C E O of Afia construction, Afia Homes and Properties and traditional tittle holder in Ibadan, Engr Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem (mogaji Adanla ), has enjoined the new Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Nwachukwu Enwonwu to emulate his predecessor, Shina olukolu while discharging his duties as the police boss in the Pace Setter State.
Adanla stated this in a statement issued by him and made available to GOALPOACHER NEWS on Tuesday. He charged the Nwachukwu to as a matter of fact, make a remarkable difference by sustaining the peace currently being enjoyed by the residents of the state.
Mogaji Adanla equally tasked the new CP on community policing and the need for the Oyo State Police Command to collaborate with the Traditional Institutions to with the aim to reducing and crime and criminality to the barest minimum in Oyo State.
“I will admonish the new CP in our dear state to seek the cooperation of Traditional Rulers in the state in the fight against crime and criminality in our various communities.”
“We will be willing to assist the police with useful information on crime and criminality in our localities,if we hear, see or observe anything in our communities, we won’t hesitate to give the information to the police for proper investigation, just for peace and tranquility to reign supreme in the state.”
