The Oyo State Government on Tuesday confirmed the sack of the Chairman, Oyo State Board of Internal Revenue, Aremo John Adeleke.
This was disclosed to GOALPOACHER NEWS by the Honourable Commissioner for Finance, Mr Akinola Ojo, after the State Executive Council Meeting.
According to the Commissioner for Finance, “the Governor has the prerogative to hire and fire anybody. He is the one that can decide when to fire anyone.
Speaking further, Akinola noted that the Internal Board of Revenue boss, Aremo Adeleke was fired yesterday, Monday 21, June, 2021.
