The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has joined family members, political associates, and well-wishers across the state and beyond to celebrate Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the PDP, and Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government — on the occasion of their birthdays.
In a congratulatory message made available through his head of media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, Hon. Olufade described them as visionary leaders, and symbols of unity whose passion for service continues to inspire purposeful leadership across Oyo State and Nigeria at large.”
Speaking glowingly about Ambassador Arapaja, Hon. Olufade noted that the former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Jordan and Iraq, and Chairman of Ibadan South-East Local Government has shown rare dedication, humility, and consistency throughout his public service journey.
According to Olufade, “Ambassador Arapaja’s contributions to our democracy and to the Peoples Democratic Party are invaluable.
His leadership has always been anchored on peace, fairness, and unity, making him one of the most respected political figures in the South.”
He further described Ambassador Arapaja as a bridge-builder, mentor, and father figure whose wisdom continues to guide younger politicians within the PDP family.
“Ambassador Arapaja’s life is a beacon of inspiration to all who believe in purposeful and people-centered leadership,” he added.
Turning his attention to Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, the Ibadan North Council Boss extolled his colleague’s leadership qualities, describing him as “a visionary administrator and grassroots transformer whose achievements in Ibadan North East Local Government have set new standards for effective local governance.”
Hon. Olufade commended Hon. Akintayo’s commitment to infrastructure renewal, educational advancement, health improvements, and community empowerment, noting that his administration is a true reflection of the developmental vision of Governor Seyi Makinde.
“Hon. Akintayo’s humility, dedication, and loyalty to the PDP make him not just a colleague but a dependable brother.
He is an exemplary leader who governs with sincerity and compassion, ensuring that local governance remains impactful and inclusive,” Olufade remarked.
While praying for God’s continued guidance, sound health, and fulfillment for both Ambassador Arapaja and Hon. Akintayo, Hon.
