Following the tragic death of Faith Adedoyin, late son of Majority Leader, Oyo State House of Assembly, the chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oluyole in the coming 2024 local government election, Akeem Olatunji has expressed sadness and grief over the incident.
Olatunji, who commiserated with the lawmaker, described Adedoyin as a brother and personal friend of over 30 year together.
The former Publicity Secretary of PDP in Oyo state disclosed this to journalists in a statement on Friday September, 29.
The deceased was one of the victims of a fatal accident that happened on Wednesday in Ilobu, Osun State, while a vehicle conveying some LAUTECH students back to Ogbomoso after a trip to Oluminrin Waterfall, Erin Ijesa, got involved in an accident.
Describing the death as shocking, unbelievably unfortunate, painful for any parent prayed God to give the deceased family and their loved ones fortitude to bear the pain of his passing.
“There’s never a better time to lose a loved one, more importantly, a dear son. It would create a void and a hole in the heart of anyone affected forever because of the unbearable pain.
“I deeply empathize with my brother and friend of over 30 year, Honourable Sanjo Adedoyin; Leader of the Majority in both 9th and the present 10th Oyo state Assembly.
“I equally share in my brother’s pain and my prayer for him and his family is that Almighty God grants them the emotional and mental strength to overcome this dark period, and for them to be able to beat the pain of his passing.” Olatunji said.
