OMI-APATA LCDA BOSS FLAGS – OFF DISTRIBUTION OF CHAIRS, DESKS TO SCHOOLS

In his efforts to provide conducive environment for teaching and learning, the Caretaker Chairman, Omi-Apata Local Council Development Area, Hon Sheriff Adeojo has flagged-off the distribution of desks and chairs to primary schools in the council area.

In his welcome address, Hon Sheriff Adeojo reiterated his administration’s commitment to improve education sector. He said “the aim is to complement the efforts of the state government under the leadership of Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde who has implemented various people-oriented policies and programmes since assumption office in May 2019”.

Hon Sheriff Adeojo noted that all primary schools in the council area will be supplied with chairs and desks. He then appealed to teachers, parents and guardians to cooperate with the Governor in order to achieve success in education sector.

In their various remarks, Hon Razaq Mabaje the honourable representing Ido Local Government in the Oyo State House of Assembly represented by Mr Ayobami Adepoju, Hon Kehinde Akande the Caretaker Chairman, Ibadan South West Local Government, Hon Samod Busari Secretary to the Local Government Omi-Apata LCDA, Hon Isiaka Adeola Former state honourable representing Ido Local Government, other PDP party leaders that graced the occasion commended Hon Sheriff Adeojo for his efforts at improving education sector.

The Chairman Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria, Comrade Bukola Mumini, Mr Ilori Headmaster ST Marks Primary School, Mrs. Bolanle Babajide Headmistress Hope Central Primary School 1 appreciated the council chairman for considering their schools to benefit from the first batch of chairs and desks.

The programme was graced by political leaders, the Acting Head of Local Government Administration, Omi-Apata LCDA Mr. Amusat Busari, teachers, parents and a host of others.
