Ondo 2024: Arapaja Sends Quit Notice to Aiyedatiwa, APC Ahead of Guber Election

 

As preparation towards the conduct of the gubernatorial election in Ondo State gathers momentum, the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has stated that the party is more than ready to reclaim Ondo state from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the guber election coming up later this year.

Ambassador Arapaja gave the assurance while speaking with newsmen shortly after the critical stakeholders meeting of the Party held at the government house, Agodi, Ibadan.

Ambassador Arapaja disclosed that the meeting which had in attendance the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, his Osun State counterpart, Senator Ademola Adeleke, former Governors Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Olusegun Mimiko, Chief Olabode George, Ondo state Governorship candidate, Hon. Agboola Ajayi and members of the National Working Committee from the South West were invited with a view to reconciling all warring factions within the party to make it formidable.

Ambassador Arapaja in a statement issued and made available to newsmen through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim said the people of Ondo state are already fed up with the APC government in the state and are ready to give their mandate to the PDP.

He noted that people enjoy good governance and a dividends of democracy better way anytime PDP is in control of government as currently being experienced in Oyo, Osun and other states being controlled by the PDP in the country.
