In a demonstration of his unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji–OTOPE, Director-General of Liaison Office Abuja and Lagos, has fulfilled his promises to support Maruwa riders and student groups in Oyo State.
Earlier today, Dr. OTOPE distributed fuel palliatives to over 200 tricycles at Bovas Filling Station, Babanla Oremeji, in Ona-Ara local government. This timely intervention aims to mitigate the adverse effects of fuel subsidy on tricycle riders and bring succor to residents of the local government.
‘I am committed to supporting the vulnerable populations in our state, and I will continue to work tirelessly to ensure their welfare,’ said Dr. OTOPE.
In addition, Dr. OTOPE gifted a cow each to the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS OYO–AXIS) and Arode International Concept in support of their upcoming programs. This gesture underscores his dedication to empowering youth and student groups through capacity building initiatives.
Dr. OTOPE’s fuel palliative distribution and support for student groups are testaments to his resolve to cushion the effects of economic hardship on vulnerable populations. By providing tangible support to Maruwa riders and student groups, Dr. OTOPE is helping to foster economic resilience and social cohesion in Oyo State.
This initiative is in line with the vision of Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, to prioritize the welfare of the people and promote sustainable development in the state. Dr. OTOPE plans to continue supporting the people of Oyo State through various initiatives and programs in the future.
