A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe has expressed disappointment on the Appeal Court verdict which upheld dissolution of all the elected chairmen by Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.

Tegbe stated this in a release signed by him reads:

    “My dear compatriots,

“I received, with disappointment, the news of today’s judgement which was against ALGON and by extension the APC.”

“I was expectant of a positive response from the courts today, like every party faithful.
While the party’s legal department will expectedly challenge this at the Supreme Court, I want to encourage us not to dwell on this temporary setback. It is time for us all to set aside imaginary walls that seperate us and join hands to build a stronger, united party as we move forward.”

“I will like to encourage everyone to join hands with the party leadership in this noble course. That is the duty we owe to the memory of our progressive forebears. My commitment to this remain unwavering.
    Together we shall win.”
    Thank you.
