Elder Kayode Bamiduro, former Special Assistant to the immediate past Governor of Oyo State, late Senator Abiola Ajimobi on media has sent Christmas wishes to the incumbent Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde and his entire cabinet, wishing them a blissful Christmas and happy new year celebrations.
In a statement issued in Ibadan, Bamiduro prayed for a successful tenure of the present Administration in the State as well as rapid development of Oyo State devoid of security challenges.
He also prayed God to give the Governor divine wisdom and love to steer the ship of the State and to enable him do the right thing to all irrespective of political or party consideration.
Elder Bamiduro, a former Head of Mitv/Star FM Ibadan who boasted his support to the Governor when he was building his political career call on Engineer Makinde to approve the outstanding payment of furniture allowances due to former political appointees in the State, especially those that worked under the Administration of the late Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
He reminded the Governor that the money had been approved by the previous Government and that it was a statutory entitlements which needed no lobbying before it is paid.
However, in the spirit of the Christmas season which preaches love and gifting, it won’t be out of place to appeal to the Governor to direct the payment so that beneficiaries will have something to celebrate with their families and friends.
Elder Bamiduro again prayed God to grant the present Government magnanimity to handle state issues as it affects all without political biases.
