Oyo Chairman, Hon Oluokun Peter Olusola, has congratulated the First Lady of the Local Government , Mrs Bamke Oluokun , on the occasion of her 50th birthday.
The chairman described the first lady as a special gift to the local government and a pillar of support for him husband, in his efforts to reposition Oyo East as a prosperous local Government.
In a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Adeleke Afees, the chairman noted that Mrs Bamke has contributed immensely to his administration as First Lady of Oyo East.
Hon Oluokun said the first lady has made laudable impacts through her series of initiative in the local government which gave empowerment to students, youths and women and gave them opportunities for fulfillment and to contribute to societal development.
He further credited the First Lady for making a great impact through her advocacy for women empowerment, social development, better life for the vulnerable segment of the population.
