The Chairman, Oyo State Housing Corporation, Barrister Bayo Lawal, has commiserated with Governor Seyi Makinde and his extended family over the death of their mother, Mrs Abigail Makinde.
Barrister Bayo Lawal who was the ADC senatorial candidate in the 209 general elections for Oyo North in a press statement made available to newsmen on Friday said, Madam Makinde lived a fulfilled and worthy life and would be greatly missed.
The Bamofin of Kisi also prayed for eternal rest for Madam Abigail and urged the family to please take solace in the good deeds of Mama, which will remain indelible on the sands of time.
Mrs Abigail Makinde died on Thursday in Ibadan at the age of 81.
He said: “I want to condole with the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Engineer Seyi Makinde and the Makinde family over the demise of their mother, Mrs Abigail Makinde.
“Mrs Makinde lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation. She is indeed a mother. She will be greatly missed. I urge the family to please take solace in the good deeds of Mama, which will remain indelible on the sands of time.
“I pray God Almighty grant her eternal rest. I pray God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”. Barrister Lawal concluded.
