The lawmaker representing Afijio State Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Oladeji Oparinde has concluded yet another landslide human development and empowerment programme for his constituents.
The astute lawmaker marked the achievement in a recent outreach, offering scholarships to students in tertiary institutions worth over three-million naira.
He distributed 60 free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registration forms to prospective students across all the ten wards in Afijio local government.
Speaking with Goalpoacher News, Prince Oparinde noted that he was driven by his love and passion to give back to the society adding that he embarked on this humanitarian service before he was elected as a lawmaker in 2023.
“It’s a great privilege and indeed an honour to be called upon for and reach out to the people who gave me the mandate to represent them at the state level.
” My statutory focus has always been on human and economic development.
“My priority is to continue to sponsor bills that will pave the way for human capital development and youth empowerment.”
