The Oyo State Commissioner for Special Duties, Mrs Funmilayo Orisadeyi, has called on Unity Forum for all Tricycles and Motorcycle Association Stakeholders (FATMAS) to support the present Administration efforts to sustain the existing peace in transportation system in the State.
She stated this during a courtesy visit to the Association at their office, opposite Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan, the State Capital.
She said Governor Seyi Makinde is a man of peace, urging the association to support the Government to sustain the existing peace in the State.
According to the Commissioner, “we are here for the development of your association, to listen to your Challenges, your needs and how we can work together to take Oyo State to greater heights”.
She enjoined the leadership of the association to always embark on Training and Re-Training of their members in order to control their excess while driving on the road.
She said the present Administration under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde is a listening Government that want peace to reign at all time, adding that, Government will look into their requests and act on them accordingly.
Responding, the Chairman Forum for all Tricycles and Motorcycle Association Stakeholders (FATMAS) Comrade, Yusuf Muritala commended Governor Seyi Makinde Giants Stride on Transportation.
Present at the event were Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Special Duties, Dr. Mercy Popoola, Director Special Duties, Mr Rasheed Adeleke and Others.
