PDP stalwart in Ido Local Government, Dr (Amb) Akande Kazeem Babatunde has congratulated members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ido Local Government who were inaugurated as part of the stakeholders committee to monitor and facilitate growth and progress within the party.
The members who were inaugurated were; Anthony Ameh, Tunji Adenekan, Saliu OLaniyi, Owolabi Kabiru, Gbenga Adesina, Musibau Faleti, Bilaminu Muraina, Akano Matthew, Alh Gbadamosi Kamorudeen, Musibau Emiola, Abiodun Ijaoye, Gbenga Olaniran, Alhaji Kasali Akande, Adelakun Fatai, Taofeek Lawal, Lukman Gbadamosi, Pastor Akintokun, Jemilatu Adeagbo, Emiola Abdulrahman, and Alagbe Rasheedat.
While extending his congratulations, Akande noted that the stakeholder committee is necessary for facilitating peace, decorum, and progress within the party.
More importantly, he charge members of the committee to be steadfast in their duty and responsibilities while ensuring that their decisions and actions are solely based on party interest. Akande further charged them to heed the words of Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon Sheriff Adeojo, who also charged them while delivering his congratulations to make party interest paramount in discharging their duties.
Akande concluded by praising the nominating committee for ensuring that the nomination process was fair and members nominated were not seeking any personal or political ambition.
He also promised to support the committee in every way possible for them to achieve their goals.
