The attention of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, has been drawn to a recent online publication making the rounds of an alleged altercation between some group of motorcycle riders and wife of The Executive Chairman, OYRTMA, Mogaji (Dr.) Akin Fagbemi.
In a statement issued by the party, through it state publicity secretary, Engr Akeem Olatunji, reads
“For the records, this is false, baseless and only a figment of the wildest imagination of the writer(s).”
“The wife of Mogaji Akin Fagbemi is an astute professional who resides in FCT, Abuja and the overseas. She is yet to visit Ibadan this year, 2020, therefore, the publication is nothing other than lies from the pit of hell.”
“In same vein, it is important to remind the writers that Dr. Fagbemi did not contest any elective position in the last general election, as he was rather the Deputy Director General, Oyo State PDP Campaign Council and during the time ensured victory for all PDP candidates from House of Assembly to Presidential elections by winning his electoral wards, Local Governments and the Senatorial District.”
“We therefore implore members of the public to disregard the “authorless” publication as it remains baseless, untrue and concocted lies from disgruntled lawbreakers who are unwilling to comply with the Oyo State Road Traffic Law, 2009 which Mogaji (Dr.) Akin Fagbemi as OYRTMA Executive Chairman, is resolutely committed to enforcing to maintain sanity on our roads and reduce accidents that results to lost of human lives.”
