The remains of the former governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has been laid to rest at his private residence in Oluyole, Ibadan.
The brief event which was witnessed by only his family members and close relatives come to an end at about 10:30 AM, this Sunday.
GOALPOACHER NEWS correspondent who monitored situations at the Oluyole residence of the late former governor, reports that Senator Abiola Ajimobi laid to rest at 10:00 AM.
According to a close family source, Ajimobi was laid to rest in a section of his house after prayers by some Islamic clerics.
Friends and associates were equally not allowed to witness his burial as one of his aides, Yanju Adegbite noted that only the children and wife were allowed to bid him farewell.
Some of the personalities who were present in his house were, Minister for Youths and Sports, Mr. Sunday Dare; Chief Bayo Adelabu, Chief Kola Daisi, Chief Mrs. Oluwakemi Akala, Hon. Wunmi Oladeji, Hon. Abbas Aleshinloye, Mr. Toye Arulogun, Bimbo Adekanbi, amongst others.
