Sallah: Celebrate In Moderation, Imbibe Virtues Of Tolerance, Love – Oyo East LG Boss, AROSAD Urges Muslim Faithful

The Executive Chairman, Oyo East Local Government, Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi (AROSAD) has fecilitated muslim adherents in the council area, Oyo town and environs for the ushering in of 2021 Eid-el-kabil celebrations.
The Chairman, in his message, enjoined muslims to imbibe the virtues of Eid-el-kabil which centered on sacrifice, love and obedience to the will of Allah.
Prince Arowosaye stressed the need for Nigerians to return to the culture of tolerance and peaceful co-existence this country has enjoyed for long.
The Council’s number one citizen urged muslims in the council area to celebrate the festive season with moderation and caution, taking note of the prevailing economic and security situations in the country.
He admonished muslims and christians alike to fervently pray for the country, for God’s intervention in the political, economic and security affairs with a view to bringing positive changes
The council Chairman also used the medium to eulogise Oyo State helm’s man, Engr Seyi Makinde for being the architect of a new lease of life in the history of modern Oyo State. He opined that the state would have gone worse, if not for the calibre of the man presently holding forth in the state.
Prince Arowosaye counselled the citizenry not to despair, saying there will always be light at the end of the tunnel.
He said, with Governor Seyi Makinde in charge of the state affairs, the elected Chairmen in the state are ready to key in into his programmes and policies with a view to spreading dividends of democracy to nooks and crannies of the state
While appreciating the supports of all and sundry for Governor Makinde’s administration, Prince Arowosaye wished them to continue praying for his government, saying better days are are coming in spite of the numerous challenges.
Prince Arowosaye wished muslim brothers and sisters happy Eid-el-kabil celebrations with the blessings that accompany the season.
