Wike is a falling man. But like all tyrants before him, he is too intoxicated by power to recognize that the end of his faltering political career is not approaching, it is already upon him.
Recent happenings have exposed Nyesom Wike as a political raptor who has now been cornered in his own snare and has become like a goat trapped in a python’s cage, running in frantic, delusional circles, bleating desperately for mercy, while the python lies still, patient, and ready for the final strike. Indeed, how are the mighty fallen!
Interestingly, Wike’s visibly deteriorating mental state and his grotesque addiction to greed and power are his final undoing.
It is now apparent that Wike has to be the most corrupt, most avaricious and most power-drunk Nigerian politician this country has ever endured, From his shameless betrayal of the PDP to Bola Tinubu, to his current macabre dance in Rivers State, Wike has reduced himself to a pitiful caricature; a collapsing political wreck clutching at fading relevance.
Today, Wike inspires nothing but revulsion in the minds of right-thinking men and women of conscience. The worst of the Ikwere political rascal’s excesses may still lie ahead, given the sheer depth of his moral rot and political depravity which is only now becoming fully visible.
From his incoherent rants in Rivers State, it is increasingly clear that Tinubu will soon come face to face with the true, despicable nature of the creature called Nyesom Wike. His crude warning insinuating ‘keeping Tinubu in line’ was nothing but a thinly veiled threat of blackmail, delivered, as usual, in one of his bloated, bombastic and intellectually empty speeches on Thursday.
However, Wike’s reckless ‘expo’ of the Osun manipulation is, paradoxically, a blessing for Nigeria’s democracy.
We pray that Wike continues to unravel publicly, unearthing the sordid, criminal deals carried out in secrecy against the people of Osun State. His madness will become Nigeria’s illumination.
The world watched in bemusement as Wike openly boasted about his role in manipulating the judiciary to sabotage the Osun Local Government funds case.
He crowed about what he did in Osun, clearly sending a not-so-subtle warning to Tinubu. Wike believes he has Tinubu by the scrotum and can squeeze at will. Lovers of democracy want him to squeeze harder; until they all collapse, confess, and bare their crimes against the Nigerian people. The world must know what happened in Osun. Wike must be compelled to confess, fully and publicly.
Like he did in the PDP, Wike has unleashed a reign of terror against the people of Rivers State. The megalomaniac does not care if Rivers State burns to the ground, as long as he does not lose control. His obsession is simple – to keep his thieving paws firmly buried in the Rivers State treasury while the governor parrots, ‘Yes, Master.’ Clearly, Everything about Wike is about power, domination and his debauched love affair with money.
This is the same Wike who grabbed vast swathes of Rivers people’s land with total contempt for decency and due process, an avaricious, insatiable political predator. This same slime is once again attempting to destabilize Rivers State by orchestrating the impeachment of Governor Sim Fubara, who has clearly outplayed him in their ongoing power struggle.
It is now clear to everyone but Wike that his delusion of controlling both the PDP and APC in Rivers State would end in spectacular failure.
Like a petulant child trying to kill two birds with one stone, Wike will lose both and tumble headlong into a cesspit of infamy, the final resting place of traitors.
Nigerians deserve answers on what happened in Osun. While the APC, President Tinubu and all those who rigged our elections continue their obscene dance of shame in Rivers State, Nigerians are asking one simple question: ‘What happened in Osun’? Wike, whom the PDP has rightly spat out; must tell us.
He must tell the world what manner of criminality was perpetuated in Osun State, against the Osun people.
