Seyi Makinde: The Joshua of Our Time Who is Taking Oyo To Promise Land – Adekola
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Elder Adekola Ayoade has extolled the Governor Seyi Makinde’s success in turning the state around, taking it from a state of stagnation to one of growth and development.
Adekola, a community leader in a statement to mark the governor’s 56th birthday anniversary, said prior to Makinde’s first electoral victory in 2019, the state was mired in a state of decline, with many sectors languishing and showing little signs of improvement.
The Chairman of Omituntun Annual Mega Praise however, under the governor’s leadership, Oyo has become a state on the rise, with increased investments in education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
He attributed this turn of fortune to the governor’s tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to the people of Oyo.
“Governor Makinde has shown a level of commitment and dedication to the people of Oyo that is simply unparalleled. He has not been content to simply sit back and watch as things improve; he has taken a proactive approach to enacting meaningful change. And the results speak for themselves.”
The former full-time board member of goes on to note several specific examples of the governor’s success, including his work to improve literacy rates, expand access to healthcare, and rebuild the state’s infrastructure.
