In its bid to empower secondary school students, the Oyo state Government has begun the training of 200 public school students in photography, cinematography and Drone piloting.
This initiative, according to the Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Students’ Affairs, Victor Olojede said the initiative is driven by the office of the special Assistant to the Governor of Oyo State on Students’ Affairs in collaboration with the Office of the Official Photographer 2 to the Governor.
The training is billed to hold at Oba Akinbiyi Model School, Mokola, Ibadan.
According him, “those to train them are seasoned young photographers and cinematographers operating in the state.
“The project which is geared towards encouraging the public school students in acquiring a skill will also afford them the opportunity to learn during the holiday period.
“After the one week expository training, the students will be aborted by their trainers for a thorough training in the art of photography, cinematography and drone piloting.”
