In a show of admiration and support for Governor Engr Seyi Makinde, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Labour Matter, Comrade Titilola-Sodo, has commended the governor for his swift action in fulfilling his promises to the people of Oyo State.

Comrade Titilola-Sodo expressed his appreciation for Governor Makinde’s prompt payment of cash awards within days of making pledges.

Sodo said this action reinforces the governor’s commitment to keeping his word and prioritizing the well-being of Oyo State residents.

He also highlighted the exceptional initiative in Oyo State, where pensioners are set to receive a monthly pension of N15,000.

This achievement has set a remarkable pace, as neither the Federal Government nor any other state has matched this level of support for retirees.

It demonstrates Governor Makinde’s dedication to addressing the financial concerns of the elderly and ensuring their quality of life.

Comrade Titilola-Sodo extended his congratulations to the workers, pensioners, and the good people of Oyo State. He acknowledged the state’s leadership, emphasizing Governor Makinde’s commitment to understanding the yearnings of his people and taking swift action to meet their needs.

The Special Adviser also congratulated Governor Makinde on his recent recognition as the Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom.

He described the governor as a “pacesetting Governor” and noted that goldfish has no hiding place. He expressed the hope for a long and prosperous reign for the amiable leader and Yeye Jagunmolu.
