The Chairman Oyo State Park Management System (PMS), Alhaji Wasiu Tomiwa Omolewa popularly known as Tommy has expressed profound sadness over the passing of Engineer Sunday Makinde, the elder brother of Governor Seyi Makinde.

In a heartfelt statement, Tommy described Engineer Sunday Makinde’s death as an immense loss to both his family and the broader community.

“Engineer Sunday Makinde’s death is a devastating blow, not only to his family but to all of us who knew him and were touched by his kindness and wisdom,” Tommy remarked.

Tommy emphasized the deceased unwavering commitment to public service and community development.

The PMS boss recalled many contributions Engineer Sunday Makinde made, saying, “He worked tirelessly to uplift those around him and was a guiding light for many.”

“He was always there to offer guidance and support. His legacy of compassion and dedication will live on in our hearts.”

Tommy extended his heartfelt condolences to His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde and the entire Makinde family, urging the community to come together during this challenging time.

“I sympathise with His Excellency and the Makinde family. May they find strength in the love and support of friends and loved ones as they navigate this painful loss,” he concluded.
