The Twenty One Five Child Foundation, has marked the New Year with a heartwarming gesture by presenting gift packages to three newborns.
The initiative took place at the Ring road State Hospital and aimed to celebrate the arrival of new life in the community. The T1FF team was welcomed by the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Shakirat Olayinka Olanlege, the Matron and some other members of staff of the hospital.
The foundation gifted three babies. A baby boy and a baby girl, born on the 31st of December, 2024 and the New Year baby boy, born in the early hours of January 1, 2025.
Each family received a comprehensive gift package that included essential items such as a baby bag, diapers, a set of combs, mentholatum, sanitary wear, and treated mosquito nets, shawls, flasks e.t.c
In addition to these thoughtful gifts, parents were also presented with foodstuffs and cash gift to support their families during this joyful yet challenging time.
Among the dignitaries present at the event were, Amb Tolu Taiwo, the Founder/Executive Director of the Twenty One Five Child Foundation, who expressed the organisation’s commitment to supporting families and promoting child welfare.
Akogun Ayo Fatokun, the Founder of Ayo Fatokun Foundation, emphasised the importance of community support for new parents.
Additionally, Mr. Bolu Ogbolu, Operations Director for T1FF, and Ms. Mariam Azeez, Assistant Project Coordinator for T1FF, played significant roles in the successful coordination of the event.
The event not only celebrated the new arrivals but also highlighted the foundation’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the well-being of children and families in the state.
