Update Your Records, TESCOM Boss Tells Applicants

Oyo state government has directed all applicants who applied for the Teaching Service Commission jobs to visit the website and upload the details of their credentials and personal data.

Mrs. Grace Olabisi Oderinde, Permanent Secretary, Oyo State Post Primary Schools Service Commission (TESCOM) revealed this in a post on social media on Thursday.

InsideOyo.com gathered that the exercise is for those who have obtained and submitted application forms in the on-going recruitment exercise. They are expected to do so between Monday, 13th and Saturday 18th July, 2020 for further processing of their applications.

“Please note that ONLY applicants who have already filled and submitted the application forms are eligible for this exercise.

“We hereby enjoin all applicants to take note of this development, as failure to comply will lead to forfeiture of such application,”

Earlier the Chairman Oyo TESCOM board, Akin Alamu said screening exercise would have been concluded few months ago but the exercise was put on hold following the outbreak of the dreaded corovirus in the state. Akin Alamu revealed this while speaking on FRESH FM COVID-19 Situation Room.

The TESCOM boss however said computer based Test would be conducted for successful applicants which is schedule for August 2020. He added that about 126,000 candidates applied for teaching job, while over 70,000 are qualified to write the test.
