In order to further strengthen the operation of its Security Agencies, Oyo State Government in partnership with the state Local governments has donated additional 30 operational Vehicles fully equipped with communication gadgets to the State Security Agencies.
The state Governor represented by the deputy who presented the keys of the vehicles to the heads of the various security agencies in the state during a special event held at the premises of the Governor’s office Agodi Ibadan.
In his remarks Governor Makinde declared that his administration will continue to give zero tolerance to crimes in the state, adding that his government remains committed to supporting all the security outfits in Oyo State.
At the end of the event, The Nigeria Police Force, Oyo state Command, received 15 security vehicles, the Governor’s Monitoring Units got 8 Vehicles, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, and Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority, (OYRTMA) received 2 vehicles each, while the Nigeria Air force, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the state Hunters got one vehicle each.
