Various stakeholders, political functionaries and security personnel are currently attending the 2023 Ember Month Sensitization Mega Rally in Ibadan.
Among the top political functionaries at the event include:
Executive Chairmen of Egbeda, Lagelu, Akinyele local governments. Hon Sikiru Sanda who doubles as ALGON Chairman in Oyo, Hon Kazeem Adeyemi and Hon Taohreed Jimoh Adedigba.
Others are Alhaji Akewugbagold who is the chairman of Agric Credit Agency, Leader of Egbeda Legislative arm, Hon Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, former Youth Leader of PDP in Egbeda, Deacon Adegbite Omoniyi.
Also are, Personnel from the Nigerian Army, Nigeria Police, Personnel from Federal Road Safety Corps, Personnel from National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Personnel from Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Personnel from VIO and Nigeria Immigration Service.
Other personalities at the event include the President of Mogaji in Ibadan, Mogaji Ariori, PDP Chieftain, Ismaila Ashipa.
In his welcome address, the Chairman of Park Management System, PMS, Alhaji Wasiu Tomiwa Omolewa appreiated all stakeholders and security operatives who are at the event to sensitize motorists and drivers on safety precautions during the ember months.
According to Tommy, this is the first time ever any transport union will ever organize a statewide sensitization rally for transport stakeholders .
