APC REP Akande Sadipe Settles Dispute Between Contractor and Community in Oluyole
The Federal lawmaker representing Oluyole Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Honourable Tolu Akande Sadipe has resolved the lingering crisis between the contractor handling a road project in Oluyole Local Government and the Community Forum.
Hon. Sadipe who doubles as the Chair Person House Committee on Diaspora Matters stated this in a release sent to GOALPOACHER NEWS by his aide, Lekan Olusada. It reads,
“Earlier today, I spearheaded a meeting between between the contractor handling Olomi-Olodo-Ijebu Igbo-Ita Egba-Owonowen road, D.C Engineering Ltd. and the Joint community forum, in Ibadan.”
“Recall that I submitted a petition on the floor of the House of Representatives in respect to the slow pace & poor construction of the road.”
“The essence of the meeting is to find lasting solutions to the brewing misunderstanding between the community and the firm and ensure that the road which has been under construction since 2018 becomes motorable before 2023.’
“At the meeting I promised my unwavering support and backing to guarantee the speedy completion of the road and my resolve to ensure a successful completion of the project.”
“I commend all stakeholders for their commitment to resolve the ‘issue’.
Let’s all collaborate to take Oluyole to the next level.” She concludes.
