The Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, and elder brother of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, Barrister Muyiwa Makinde, has congratulated the newly installed Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, on his coronation.
Barrister Makinde, in his congratulatory message, praised the new monarch, saying, “It is with great pleasure that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Olakulehin, on his ascension to the throne as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.”
He also expressed his confidence in the new Olubadan’s leadership, adding that, “The people of Ibadanland are blessed to have a leader of such caliber, and I have no doubt that his reign will bring peace, progress, and prosperity to our land.”
Barrister Makinde also emphasized the importance of the Olubadan institution, stating, “The Olubadan of Ibadanland has always been a symbol of unity, culture, and tradition.”
“With the ascension of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Olakulehin, we look forward to the continued growth and development of our great city under his wise leadership.”
