COLLAPSE OF COALITION:APC CHIEFTAIN ADVISES MAKINDE ON THE WAY FORWARD
Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC in Egbeda Local Government, Elder Kayode Bamiduro has advised the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde to relieve most of his close allies if only he wanted to be remembered for good in the political history of Oyo State.
Bamiduro gave the advice while reacting to a recent reports on the desolution and final collapsing of the entire Zenith Labour Party structures in to the opposition APC in Oyo State.
He said the latest development confirmed his earlier observation that the Governor was surrounded by wicked and selfish politicians who have encamped him and wrongly advising him not to accommodate people who could assist him in driving his Administration better than what we are witnessing now.
The media and public relations expert expressed worries over what he described as lack of focus in the Administration of Engineer Makinde due to his inability to incorporate abled men and women with political and administrative experience in to his almost two years Administration.
Bamiduro added that until he relieved all the morons around him and replace them with experienced professionals and political wizards, his Government will continue to swim in one place without making any headway. He reminded Makinde to stop believing he has achieved much simply because of paying salaries of workers and pensioners monthly stipends which are their statutory entitlements.
He condemned using consultants in tertiary institutions in the state as well as ‘importing’ artisans like welders from Bayelsa State to work in Oyo State when the state indigenes can always handle the jobs. “Your government didn’t realize that security issues can be tackled through provision of such jobs for the indigenes”.
“For two years we have been begging you also to pay us our statutory allowances as approved by your predecessor, late Senator Abiola Ajimobi but you refused to pay us, but went ahead to pay your own appointees”. “We have decided to hold on for another two years. If you refused to do the right thing, another person will do at the appropriate time”, the APC chieftain concluded.
