Community Celebrates Renovation of General Hospital in Igbo-Ora as Hon. Adeleke Lauds Adedigba Family’s Legacy

The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Adeleke Olusola Ayodele, officially handed over the remodeled General Hospital in Igbo-Ora yesterday.
The renovation, completed by the Adedigba family in memory of their patriarch, Alhaji Jimoh Atilola Adetonwa Adedigba, was marked by a dedication ceremony at the hospital’s main complex.
The event was attended by notable figures, including Dr. Akin Fagbemi, Chairman of the Oyo State Hospitals Management Board, and Prof. T.O. Ogundiran, Provost of the University of Ibadan College of Medicine, along with various traditional leaders and community members.
During the ceremony, Hon. Adeleke praised the Adedigba family for their significant contributions to the community, emphasizing the importance of philanthropy in local development.
He called on other community members to follow their example and invest in self-help projects.
He also urged the Hospital Management Board to maintain the upgraded facilities to ensure effective healthcare delivery.
