The Civil Society Organization on Community Advancement and Humanitarian Empowerment Initiative (CSCHEI) is set to launch its flagship programme, “No Teachers, No Development,” a nationwide initiative dedicated to recognising and rewarding both outstanding and retired teachers for their invaluable contributions to education.

In a statement by the Director-General of CSCHEI, Kunle Yusuff, MON, the innovative programme aims to highlight the essential role that teachers play in shaping future generations, emphasising their impact on imparting knowledge, skills, and values.

Through “No Teachers, No Development,” CSCHEI seeks to honor these educators and provide them with the recognition they deserve,” he said.

According to him, the initiative will not only celebrate exceptional teachers but also serve as an inspiration for current and future educators to pursue excellence in their field.

Meanwhile, CSCHEI has partnered with reputable organisations, including the United Nations Institute for Training and Research in Geneva, AI-Grant in the USA, and the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies in Kuru-Jos, to enhance the programme’s effectiveness and outreach.

With a strong presence across 26 states and 460 local governments in Nigeria, CSCHEI is committed to promoting sustainable development through community empowerment and capacity building.

The organisation collaborates closely with the National Senior Secondary Education Commission and the National Union of Teachers to ensure the program’s success.

CSCHEI, however, invited all Nigerians to participate in the initiative by acknowledging the teachers who have positively influenced their lives.

“By celebrating the transformative power of education, the community can come together to honor these vital contributors to society.'”

CSCHEI noted that the official launch date for “No Teachers, No Development” will be announced shortly, adding that Ala National Committee has already been established, led by Garba Danladi from Nasarawa State, to oversee the initiative.
