Dare Adeleke Hails Makinde For Naming GRA After Yekini Adeojo
PDP Chieftain and Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on (Federal constituency Matters), Hon. Dare Adeleke has commended the Oyo State Governor for naming the newly commissioned GRA after a worthy son of the soil, Chief Yekinni Ayoade Adeojo. Seriki Musulumi of Yoruba land.
In a statement released in Ibadan, Adeleke described Makinde as a leader committed to infrastructural growth.
The statement reads:
With a heart full of gratitude, I hereby convey my sincere appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde for honoring one of our own, our father, mentor and a great son of Ibadan, Chief Yekinni Adeojo.
Naming the new GRA recently awarded to Messers Allianz West Africa (Nigeria) Limited after Chief Yekinni Adeojo, under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme, shows that Governor Makinde is a believer of recognizing good works, rewarding service to country, state and mankind and doing so while the recipient is still alive to acknowledge such a huge honour.
Indeed, Adeojo, the former National Deputy Chairman (South ) of our great party and foundation leader,is most worthy of such a distinctive privilege.
Chief Adeojo has served both the nation on many levels, he has worked tirelessly for the good of all Oyo state,invested heavily in education and today, he is an elder who is most respected for his integrity and uprightness.
Our governor, His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has again shown excellence in leadership as a leader with a vision who is committed to infrastructural growth.
Gov. Makinde is planning ahead of the times by expanding the Ibadan City, building more satellite extensions for the future as cities are bound to grow, and the accompanying population growth must be adequately prepared for
Oyo is indeed blessed to have Engineer Seyi Makinde as governor at a time like this.
