The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, has sympathized with the families of the victims of the explosion which occurred at Bodija area Ibadan in the night of Tuesday, describing the incident as devastating and heart shattering.
Ambassador Arapaja also sympathize with the Oyo State government under the leadership of Engr Seyi Makinde, saying this moment calls for a sober reflection in the state.
Ambassador Arapaja stated this in a condolence message he personally issued and made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim this morning in Ibadan.
Ambassador Arapaja commended the efforts of H.E Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde and other relevant government agencies who have been working round the clock to salvage the lives of those trapped in the rubble as well as the plan to provide succour to the victims and their families.
“May Allah put an end to a calamity of this nature in Oyo state “, he prayed .
