Director-General Liaison Office Abuja and Lagos, Hon Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji has felicitated with Christians in the state and in the country on this year’s Easter celebrations.
OTOPE who is the Parakoyi of Ajia land in his goodwill message on Saturday, said witnessing this year’s Easter is a special grace from God in view of the prevailing economic situation in Nigeria.
The PDP chieftain stated that Easter is very significant because it is an annual event marking the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
OTOPE urged Christians to emulate the sacrifice and selflessness of Jesus Christ in their daily lives.
He urged the people of the state not to allow their spirits to be dampened by the current economic challenges but should be hopeful noting that tough time does not last.
