Hon Abiola Pens Appreciation Message to Akinyele Residents, Gov Makinde, PDP Leaders, Members Over His Electoral Victory A Year Ago
The lawmaker representing Akinyele Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Lekan Abiola has expressed his gratitude to everybody who contributed to his electoral victory on this 18th March, 2023.
In the gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections, Hon Lekan defeated opposition party candidates with a wide margin to emerge victorious.
The lawmaker who is House Committee Chairman on Establishment and Training appreciated Governor Seyi Makinde, all PDP leaders in Akinyele local government and the residents of Akinyele constituency 1 from ward one to six who voted for him.
The astute lawmaker equally expressed his profound gratitude to his immediate family, comprising of his adorable wife and children who supported his aspiration despite his absence from home during electioneering period.
“Today, March 18, 2024 makes it a year I was elected into the Oyo state House of assembly to represent the good people of Akinyele 1.
“Special appreciation to His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Oyo state for his unwavering support, he was a crucial support system. Also, the state Party executives, you are specially recognized.
“My Party leaders, how could this have been possible without you? Your show of love, mentoring, prayers and guidance ensured we came out victorious. To all the party members, our dearest Soldiers, I salute your efforts before, during and after the election. I do not take it for granted, and I promise once again to continue to use this mandate to promote and position Akinyele LG for good. Also, the fantastic Lekan Abiola Team I salute your tenacity and steadfastness.
“Also, special mention to my wife and the Children who had to endure my absence and everything that happened during the electioneering process. Also, the entire Abiola Family and extended family, you were all immense.
“We still remember all our promises. We took note of every demand of our people. We surely know that there will be pressures and we are not complaining. On a daily basis, we review and re-adjust our action plans to fulfill our promises and we are not tired.
“To the good people of Akinyele state constituency 1, I say a big thank you for believing in me and entrusting me with this mandate. Akinyele LG will be great.
