Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local has felicitate Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja on the auspicious occasion of his coronation as crown wearing Oba in Ibadan land.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Alawode described the historic event as a significant moment in the annals of Ibadanland, as High Chief Ladoja, a revered figure in the community and former governor of Oyo State, is being bestowed with the honor.
The council boss says thus; “we congratulate Senator Ladoja for his forthrightness, courage and commitment to the progress of Ibadan land. His hard work and perseverance have paid off”.
Hon. Alawode then wishes Senator Ladoja a long peaceful, progressive and prosperous reign in excellent health.
The coronation was done by the Olubadan of Ibadan land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin, the Ige Adubi 1, while the Deputy Governor, Engr. Bayo Lawal presented the staff of office to the newly crowned Oba, Senator Ladoja.
Dignitaries, Traditional rulers and well-wishers from across the country converged at the new palace of Olubadan of Ibadan land at Oke aremo to witness the coronation.
