Hon. Alawode Engages Adelabu Adegoke Shopping Complex to Foster Market Development
The Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, has visited the Adelabu Adegoke Shopping Complex in Orita to express gratitude for the community’s support.
The market was alive with enthusiasm as traders welcomed him with singing and dancing, showcasing their appreciation.
In his address, Hon. Alawode thanked the market community for their steadfast support during his first term and their role in his re-election for a second term.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving the market environment, promising to create a more conducive and resilient space for trade.
The council boss encouraged the traders to maintain their unwavering support for his leadership, as well as for Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In her remark, Chief Mrs. Olubunmi Adesanya, the Iyaloja of the shopping complex, welcomed Hon. Alawode, expressing gratitude for his commitment to the progress of Ibadan South East Local Government.
She highlighted the needs of the market and requested his assistance in delivering more benefits to the community, reaffirming their ongoing support for his administration.
The event was attended by prominent figures, including Hon. Akeem Alarape, Councillor for Ward 10; Hon. Saheed Olanrewaju, Supervisory Councillor for Works; Prince Ademola Oyetunde.
