Hon Alawode Swears-in Additional Supervisory Councillors, Special Assistant in Ibadan Southeast LG
The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode sworn in three supervisors and a Special Assistant into his cabinet in accordance with the directive of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Oluseyi Makinde, in order to pilot affairs of the council area more effectively.
In his opening address, Hon. Alawode thanked God Almighty for the reality of the day, acknowledged the support of Governor Seyi Makinde to the progress of Ibadan South East Local Government and congratulated the newly appointed Supervisors for scaling the hurdles to make
it this far.
While soliciting for synergy for effective and smooth running of the council from the new appointees, Hon. Alawode noted that progress can only be achieved through collective efforts.
“We must all work together as a team, the progress we desire can only be achieved if everyone is fully dedicated and focused on delivering the best outcomes for our people”. He stressed.
Hon. Alawode then assured the new Supervisors and Special Assistant of an harmonious working relationship.
Names of the new appointees are:-
Hon. Ajibi Kazeem Olaide, Hon. Biodun Lawal, Hon. Ali Moruf and Adedeji isiaka Babatunde.
The new new Special Assistant, Hon. Adedeji Isiaka Babatunde, who gave the vote of thanks on behalf of others, appreciated Hon. Alawode and everyone present for their support and promised they will do their best in line with the Hon. Alawode’s Administration’s Agenda.
The ceremony which took place at the council secretariat, Mapo Hill had in attendance, Leader of the Legislative arm who is also the Chairman of Oyo State Councillors forum, Hon. Ayodeji Oladepo, Chief Whip of the house, Hon. Akeem Alarape, Supervisory Councillor for Works, Hon. Saheed Azeez SP, Chief of Staff, Hon. Olusegun Oludaye, Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Sulaimon Adesina (World best), PDP leader, Hon. Kunmi Adesina, former Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Temitope Yusuf Supreme, Women leader, Hon. Kudirat Babatunde, Head of Local Government Administration, Dr Agnes Olakunbi Ojo, Director of Administration and General services, Alhaja Tawakalitu Olufunke Adedotun, Deputy Director of Administration and General services, Mr Kola Balogun and well-wishers from the council area.
